A BROKEN HEART

I WILL NEVER 'GET OVER IT'

MY GORGEOUS SON IS GONE

AND A PART OF ME IS TOO.

MY SOUL HAS SNAPPED IN HALF

THIS IS MY NEW NORMAL

AND THE 'I' BECOMES A 'WE'.

 
  Special Angel in Heaven

   There is a special Angel in Heaven
that is a part of me
It is not where I wanted him
but where God wanted him to be.

He was here but just a moment
like a night time shooting star
and although he is in Heaven
  he isn't very far.   

He touched the hearts of many
like only an Angel can do
I would've held him every minute
if the end I only knew.

So I send this special message
to the Heavens up above
Please take care of my Angel
and give him all my love.

On the day God took you
I thought that I would die
I wondered where the time went
I asked alot of Why's ????
With people all around me
I felt alone inside
From all their words of comfort,
I couldn't seem to hide
I thought I might dreaming
That I'd wake and find you here
I thought "this can't be happening"
As I wiped another tear
On the day that you were laid to rest
My heart broke yet again,
I wondered if the pain would end
But mostly I wondered when ???
It's so hard to be without you
At times the days seem long
But sometimes I just sit crying
When there's really nothing wrong
I wished we'd had more time
before your life was done
I hope your resting peacefully...

Good solid things like honesty and trust and caring about people.

It's qualities like these that keep us aware of who we are and what we can give to life.

It's qualities like these Kris, that you've taught me to value, through your influence, your example and your love.

It has made me love you VERY much, and has made me very proud to have you for my son.
